William "Will" Oncken is an attorney in Myrtle Beach, SC. Mr. Oncken has a B.A. in Criminal Justice ('11), Masters of Human Resources ('16), and J.D. ('16) from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Mr. Oncken has served as an enlisted member in the National Guard since 2012 and is currently classified as an "officer candidate" in the South Carolina Army National Guard. He currently resides in Murrells Inlet, SC with his wife.
Mr. Oncken represents clients in a variety of matters including, but not limited to: auto accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, on-the-job injuries, dog bites, premises liability, truck accidents, bike accidents, and motorcycle accidents.
While in law and graduate school, Mr. Oncken was selected to represent USC at the 2015 National Academy of Human Resources annual conference in New York City, NY. In 2016, he co-authored the first place National Academy of Human Resources 2016 Ram Charan Essay Contest and presented the paper's findings to the world's leading HR scholars and HR executives at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, NY.
Previously, Mr. Oncken worked in human resources for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, as a law clerk for two different law firms, as a parachute rigger in the Army National Guard, and as an equipment manager for the South Carolina Gamecocks football team. He also received a jazz saxophone scholarship in college and maintains a passion for music.
