I hired Tyler recently to help me handle the legal aspects of the passing of my mom. He was wonderful! I felt Tyler's expertise in this area of law was only surpassed by his level of compassion and care. Never once during any of our meetings did I ever feel rushed or unimportant - much the opposite - I truly felt as if I was his only client. He carefully walked me through every step of the process, ensuring I understood what we were doing and why, and answered the many questions I had with patience and kindness. During a difficult period of my life, Tyler's expertise and care really made a difference. If you have need in this area (estate planning or otherwise), I recommend Tyler Jones!

Tyler is a compassionate, friendly, and intelligent person. He knows how to get the job done and is exceptional at doing so. He has a broad depth of knowledge of the law especially in the area that he practices and he is able to easily explain things so that as a client you don’t feel overwhelmed or confused. He makes you feel comfortable and is considerate to phone calls, emails, and just simply being available. He by far exceeded my expectations and helped ease my fear of attorneys. He was able to help my family during a difficult time and made our situation one that we were able to manage without any mistakes. He truly is phenomenal.

About
Attorney Tyler J. Jones is a graduate of Seton Hill University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Accounting and History. Attorney Jones received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During his time at Pitt Law, he served as the Co-Executive Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Technology, Law & Policy. Mr. Jones was also a member of the law school’s Securities Arbitration Clinic. Additionally, he served as an intern for the Honorable John T. Bender of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, as well as an extern for the Honorable Christopher A. Feliciani of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas.
Attorney Jones began working for Ms. Petrillo while in college at nearby Seton Hill. Following law school, he joined the firm as an associate attorney. In 2015 Tyler became the managing partner of the firm and handles the firm’s day to day matters. Attorney Jones focuses his practice on Adoption, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder Law. He enjoys guiding families and seniors within the practice to assure that their legal needs are met in a timely, friendly and comprehensive manner.
Attorney Jones is a member of the Westmoreland County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is active in the Irwin community. Tyler serves as a board member for the Norwin Chamber of Commerce and CASA of Westmoreland (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Attorney Jones was recently awarded the Westmoreland County Trailblazers Award in recognition of community leaders under the age of 40.
