Travis Decosta helped me find the information I needed regarding tenants that refuted late fees I held from their security deposit. He directed me to the exact section that I needed. Travis took the time to contact me via phone. He was very patient with all my questions and answered in full detail. I will be consulting with Travis on other legal matters.

Travis has been such a great attorney. I’m not from Rhode Island originally and got myself into a tough situation with a landlord who charged me two months rent for a deposit, and then refused to return any of it 3 years later when I moved and left his home spotless (with proof). My landlord is highly connected and I have been nervous to pursue him, but Travis showed me that I have the law on my side. He was willing to work with my financial situation, eased my fears of losing, and gave me the courage to try. I think as a single mom of two, new to RI and it’s laws, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
