  In the regulatory environment, the intermittent need to seek in-house or outside counsel's input and/or direction is a fact of life, and you learn fairly quickly the competency level of the individual with whom you're working. This is especially true when you're dealing with complex matters that require accurate attention the first time around or when you're putting out metaphorical fires. Traci agilely and intelligently engages the issue. Even at her busiest, she makes the time to examine the issue and concisely explains how she arrived at her conclusion. And her responses are characteristically thorough, it's as if she'd considered the matter for months rather than the day, hours or minutes she actually had.
