I had never worked with Tonya Alexander before, and was referred to her by my corporate business attorney at AterWynn. Tonya helped mediate a divorce for me earlier this year and her services came highly recommended. She was very thorough, patient, and precise. Her services were prompt, very affordable, and she even let us make payments after the divorce was finalized. I plan on using her services in the future, and highly recommend her for your legal needs.
I selected Tonya because she was objective, experienced and very kind. All of this reflected throughout the process. She provided me with sound advice, always protecting my interests, incredible empathy for my situation and often protecting me from myself. In the moments I second-guessed some of the decisions she remained patient, open and found a tactful way to keep me focused on the proper outcome, yet remained supportive of the doubts that crept up. Tonya is an excellent attorney and she is a marvelous human being.
Tonya is a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring lawyer with a great deal of insight into her clients' needs. When making recommendations for mediators or collaborative attorneys, I am always pleased to recommend Tonya to my clients or colleagues.

I hired Tonya to assist me in my divorce. She was thorough, straight forward and patient. She adjusted her style based on my needs. Because everything was amicable, she understood the importance of honoring my ex's privacy along with balancing my requests. I recommend Tonya for any type of family law.
I hired Tonya in 2007. She made an unavoidably unpleasant task smooth and manageable. One of her main concerns was to keep my case out of court, which she did with no trouble at all. She was always a lovely person to deal with, always timely, and always answered any questions I had thoroughly and professionally. I highly recommend her.
I recommend Tonya without reservation. Beyond the basics that every good attorney needs Tonya is also creative and this gives her the ability to tailor solutions that others might not think of. She has a number of partners that she works with that enable her to take some of the adversarial out of an inherently adversarial situation. She also gives her time back such as being a mentor to law students.
Tonya is a hard working, ethical and intelligent woman who I have immensely enjoyed working with in the past. She has specialized in family law for many years, and approaches each case with compassion, common sense and comfort. Her collaborative approach to problem solving is cutting edge, and I would highly recommend her to anyone with questions in the realm of family law!
