I am committed to providing clients with personalized, accessible, and creative immigration law representation. Like most areas of law, not to mention life in general, immigration law practice and interactions with government agencies are increasingly standardized.  My response to the bureaucratic nature of the world is to focus more on a personal approach to immigration law because, ultimately, immigration decisions are intensely personal and often very stressful. My goal as an attorney is to achieve my clients’ goals while limiting the stress of the immigration process.
Located in the Mile High City of Denver - Colorado, in Lincoln Center, Bakken Law - Law Firm of Timothy R. Bakken, P.C. has provided comprehensive legal services in U.S. immigration and naturalization matters since 1996. While our emphasis is on employment-based immigration, we also represent individuals and families. We dedicate ourselves to helping you achieve your dream of living and working in the United States.
We provide responsive and diligent representation in all aspects of employment- and family-based immigrant (green card), nonimmigrant, and naturalization and citizenship matters.  We have extensive experience with PERM labor certification applications, National Interest Waivers, permanent residence petitions for professionals and multinational transferee managers and executives, Extraordinary Ability petitions for immigrant and nonimmigrant artists, musicians, and scientists, H-1B visas, L-1 visas, E-2 visas, O and P visas, and all aspects of family-based immigration including same-sex marriage petitions and family matters related to waivers of inadmissibility.  We also represent individuals in removal (deportation) proceedings in Immigration Court and provide evaluation of possible immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
