Real Estate Disputes
I represent real estate investors, private equity, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, builders, developers, contractors, owners, homeowners’ associations, and other clients in disputes involving:
• Secured loans, including foreclosure, receivership, guaranty enforcement and disbursement, as well as, lender liability and bad faith claims;• Construction disputes, including general contractor and subcontractor issues;• Landlord/tenant controversies involving commercial real estate, including eviction and lien rights;• Tax lien and tax deed issues including barment, quiet title actions, money petition actions, and interpleader claims;• Disputes between purchasers and sellers;• Title matters, including lien and ownership priority, easement rights, mechanic lien rights, adverse possession, easements and boundary disputes;• Purchase and sale agreement disputes;• Retention/detention pond disputes; and• Homeowner's Association disputes.
