Taft exhibits to every co-worker he comes in contact with a passion for his work and a commitment to be the best he can be. Very detail oriented and thorough, Taft can be depended upon to execute every time. Taft also shares his passion for "going green" in an infectious way that helps others to understand the importance of the effort. Having worked with Taft on the groups assigned to him as a catering manager as well as on our hotel's Green Committee, I can say that he would be an asset in any setting, setting an example for others to follow.

As part of Marriott's management development program, I had the unique opportunity of being Taft's mentor in completing his required managment training program. Unlike previous trainees, I quickly learned that Taft had some unique talents that were going to set him apart from others. His charasmatic and engaging personality quickly allowed Taft to engage and maximize all available resources to support him in his endeavours to complete his assignment. This he accomplished in just the first four weeks of what normally takes 8-12 weeks to complete. With this kind of passion for learning, he quickly earned an opportunity to join the event management team. Since then he has demonstrated an ability to adapt to the needs of our clients and provide them a quality and exceptional service in the planning of their meeting and events.
