  My wife Anne and I met Sherri through our church. We had just moved to South Carolina and consulted with her about our fairly new wills, power of attorney, etc, which had been done in Florida. She took a lot of time to go over all our Florida documents and create a package for each of us. Along the way she met with us several times to go over what she was doing and had done. She takes a lot of time to review and explain everything. Following a trip to the clerk of court, our documents were official. She met with us again to pass on the documents.   I had the pleasure of working with Sherri Marie on a collaborative project with and Southern Illinois University School of Law and the ABA Section on International Law International Human Rights Committee. Over the course of the school year, American legal professions were recruited to present lectures on domestic legal topics to Russian law students at Udmurt State University in Izhevsk, Russia. Prof. Cynthia Fountaine led the project, and myself and fellow law student, Julian Valdes administered the programs and acted as liaisons between the Russia students/instructors and the weekly presenters. Sherri Marie was one of our volunteer lecturers on two occasions. Her demeanor was enthusiastic and her responses were always prompt. Her presentation materials we thorough, well put together, and easy to understand. She always respected our timelines by submitting her presentation materials either early or right on time. The Russian students she presented to provided great feedback about her presentation. She was considerate that English wasn't their first language and would stop often to make sure they were following her. It was great working with her!

  Sherri Marie assisted me in marshaling at the start area in a head race in Oak Ridge, TN. This is the most demanding position of officials in a head race format. In short, this official must make order out of chaos, i.e., position numerous boats in numerical order, space them appropriately as they approach the start line, respond, as necessary to equipment and personnel problems, and above all keep the regatta on time. This was Sherri's first time doing this and it soon became evident that she could do this without my guidance or assistance . So it allowed me to sit back, drive her launch, and observe.
