I hired Mr. Shaffie for a professional liability issue. A client of mine had accused me of malpractice from an incident five years prior. Shawn assessed my case and advised me throughout the process with my professional association. With his help I was able to show that my actions were not malpractice and prevent the matter from going any further. Most professionals, whether they are lawyers, doctors, accountants, etc., are exposed to a large amount of liability for their actions. When something goes wrong, your license and in turn your livelihood are at stake. In hiring Mr. Shaffie, I was able to avoid any risk to my livelihood and would recommend him to any professional or anybody needing the skills of a shrewd and dedicated attorney.

Shawn Shaffie’s practice involves all aspects of litigation, business, wrongful death, and deal making. Mr. Shaffie also focuses on professional liability concerning attorneys, accountants and other business professionals. He has favorably resolved numerous multi-million-dollar lawsuits and arbitrations, and has wide-ranging litigation experience in a variety of substantive areas including entertainment, contracts and finance, franchise law, risk management and loss prevention, intellectual property, insurance, and sober living home and treatment center malfeasance.
Mr. Shaffie is passionate about protecting artists and their imaginations. Within his entertainment law practice, he represents talent in all phases of deal making, contracts and negotiations, as well as litigation arising from such matters.
