I practice primarily in the areas of collaborative family law and appellate law.
As a graduate from Wake Forest School of Law and a former civil litigation attorney and law professor, my goal is to educate my clients and represent them to obtain a successful outcome for issues including child custody, child support, equitable distribution, spousal support and divorce.
I enjoy giving back to our community and the greater global community. I am a volunteer for the Council for Children’s Rights and the Assistance League of Charlotte’s Teen Court Program. In 2011, I co-founded The Lunch Project, a nonprofit dedicated to giving children the fuel to learn through community-run lunch programs in public primary schools in Tanzania and global empathy-based education programs in Charlotte-area schools. Giving back in these ways has helped me understand and gain a full and diverse perspective of the lives and needs of others and has continued to fuel my passion to help others.
I understand and appreciate that you are going through a difficult time. I will use my combined experience as a litigator, teacher, advocate and parent to help you navigate the divorce process and to advocate and negotiate on your behalf.
