Rebecca was a genuine asset to our office. She has superior organizational skills, works handsomely as part of a team, and can write well-researched, articulate letters and policy briefs. She was punctual and courteous, and exhibited levels of judgment and professionalism that exceeded expectations. It is without hesitation that I would recommend her for any position to which she applies.
Native Houstonian raised in Katy, Texas, Rebecca is a graduate of Katy High School and attended Texas State University, receiving her BA in History and Political Science, magna cum laude. She served as legislative aide to Chairman Bill Callegari in the Texas House of Representatives for two years before attending Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she recieved her JD. Rebecca interned as law clerk to Justice K. FitzGerald in the Fifth District Court of Appeals at Dallas and defended children in child abuse and neglect cases in North Texas as Attorney/Guardian Ad Litem at the W. W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic. Admitted to the Texas State Bar, Associate Attorney at the Foster Law Firm, and member of the Fort Bend County Bar Association, Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association. Rebecca is the oldest of seven and happily married. When not practicing law, she can be found spending time with her large family around Houston and Katy.
