RACHEL WILLIAMS DEMPSEY is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP in San Francisco, and a member of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group. In addition, Ms. Dempsey was a law clerk in the civil division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, where she assisted in affirmative litigation including discrimination and False Claims Act cases, and at Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC, where she worked on class action litigation, including employment matters.
Ms. Dempsey is the author, with Joan C. Williams, of What Works for Women at Work. She received her B.A., cum laude and with distinction in the major, from Yale University in 2009.
