I was having an issue with a home builder claiming I was in breach of the purchase agreement. I found Hunter McClean on Avvo and he referred me to his associate Patrick. I contacted them Thursday around midnight and they responded early Friday morning. We discussed the issue, formed a plan of actions, and acted on it that same day which was just fantastic. My home builder dispute ended the following day! They were fast, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to my needs. This was my first experience with lawyers but if I ever have a problem again I'm definitely going to them!
Patrick was instrumental to the success of The DeLotto Firm and has been a professional role model for myself. He shines in building and maintaining relationships with clients. Patrick guided our clients through complex matters and made them feel comfortable during sensitive and trying times. He established professional and courteous rapport with counsel, court clerks, and judges, and ran the office while the attorney was away. Patrick drafted excellent documents for our firm and demonstrated attention to detail and effective written communication. He understands the needs and desires of parties and mediated those concerns fairly and honestly to all parties. Patrick's solidwork ethic shines under pressure and in meeting deadlines. Patrick also marketed the firm by improving the firm's image and created professional appearance in our letterhead, website, and presentations to clients. He also led our firm's annual participation in National Adoption Day.
I have a passion for representing entrepreneurial business owners in their efforts to grow and protect their businesses. I practice primarily in the areas of business law, real estate law, healthcare law, energy law, and construction law.
I am a graduate of Texas A&M School of Law (formally Texas Wesleyan University School of Law) where I was a member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, a founding member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review Oil & Gas Survey, an Academic Support Peer Mentor, and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Phi Delta Phi.
While in law school, I interned at the legal department of XTO Energy, Inc. (a subsidiary of ExxonMobil), and completed projects in most areas of oil & gas law for in-house counsel in both transaction and litigation; interned for the Honorable Justice Bob McCoy at the Second Court of Appeals of Texas; and clerked at two civil law firms in Fort Worth. Through these internships and my prior work experience, I have a wide variety of practical experience in all stages of commercial litigation and appeals, various business transactions, corporate formations, general business matters, and oil & gas law.
