As Director of Administration in New York, I worked with Nathan closely as library manager and valued member of the top administration managers. Nathan as a library manager is what every law firm senior management wants as a key member of the firm's management team. He focused his attention and efforts on important firm issues and proactively got involved in all areas of need, not just focusing on the traditional library roles. Nathan kept the big firm picture in mind and is highly collaborative, making sure to collect all key holders opinions. He was extraordinarily careful and thoughtful with the firm's money and was constantly balancing the cost benefit of the information and alternative delivery formats. Nathan is a consummate team player who raised our information services to a new level and accomplished more than had ever been done in the past. He is a solid performer whom I highly recommend
Nathan is a great colleague who was always open to hearing my ideas and suggestions on improving department processes and information services support at Dechert. He was always willing to help me, listen to my concerns, offer valuable suggestions, and acted as a great sounding board. Nathan has innovative ideas, excels in presentation delivery and educational outreach.
Nathan worked for me for many years and we stayed in contact after he left. He really listened to me and worked diligently to do everything I wanted. He focused his attention on making my life easier. He made sure that I always knew everything that I needed to know so that I was never surprised. He took charge of much of the day-to-day operations of the reference services which permitted me to focus on managing the big picture and work with C suite directors. Nathan is really focused on improving his capabilities by increasing his tools and techniques and was always open and interested in experimenting to improve services and satisfaction level.
Nathan is an excellent speaker; his enthusiasm motivates listeners to get excited about legal research. He was well prepared, worked with tailoring his section with the other speakers, and gave me practical tips on presenting materials. Nathan is a true team player, and I'm thankful he was part of LLAGNY's first in house CLE at Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP on Merger and Acquisition research.
Nathan Rosen's knowledge of and expertise with LinkedIn is readily apparent and I strong recommend him as a speaker or consultant. Thanks to Nathan's presentation, CALL members now have a clear blueprint for using LinkedIn to build their professional networks and promote themselves. From the very beginning, Nathan's presentation challenged the audience to commit to building powerful LinkedIn profiles through steady, daily progress. Nathan graciously accepted my invitation as Co-Chair of the CALL Continuing Education Committee to teach our members how to effectively use LinkedIn to network and build relationships which he did in a January 2015 Continuing Education program which incorporated the LinkedIn profiles of various CALL members into his presentation!
Nathan is an effective and engaging presenter, his ability to connect with his audience consistently improves learning outcomes. Nathan maximizes social media and collaboration platforms building strong communities that share best practices in research and information management.
Nathan is an expressive presenter with an impressive body of knowledge, which he knows how to customize for his audience. I had the pleasure to introduce him recently to a crowd of sophisticated job seekers at the Science Industry and Business Library. I witnessed firsthand his command of the participants and of the material he presented. Not only was he able to share his deep understanding of best uses of LinkedIn and other aspects of social media necessary in modern work search campaign, but also his warm and out going presentation style engaged and inspired his audience. This was clearly visible in only high marks he received in participants' evaluation of his lecture.
Nathan is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and motivating speaker. His presentation on LinkedIn for LLAGNY was especially inspiring and helpful. He spoke eloquently and had thoughtfully timed the entire presentation to the minute with the necessary time at the end for questions. Nathan is truly an information specialist and an asset to the information and knowledge management community.
Nathan is a knowledgeable, personable, can-do expert in the information management field. Not only is he able to manage a corporate library, encompassing, business, regulation, and law, but he makes it a point to keep abreast of the ever-changing dynamic of the focus areas for which he is responsible, and disseminate that cutting edge info in real time. He is a definite asset to any organization with which he chooses to affiliate himself.
