Michelle is a first-rate attorney with very high integrity. I recently referred an existing client to Michelle because of a conflict. She handled the matter skillfully, efficiently, and got a great outcome for my client. She kept me appropriately updated on the status of the matter, and when the matter was complete she handed my very happy client back to me without a hitch. My client went out of his way to send me an email thanking me for referring the matter to Michelle. I would highly recommend Michelle for any legal matters, and practitioners can feel confident that any client matters you refer to her will be handled with zeal and integrity.

Michelle Blackwell is a badass attorney and a beautiful single mom as well! She is an incredible woman. I originally hired Michelle to help fight some unfair rules being proposed by a regulatory agency in Oregon. Not only did she put a stop to the unfair rule proposals, she also helped me get legislation on the Oregon House Floor that helps me and thousands of working women in the state of Oregon! This was a daunting task, but Michelle Blackwood orchestrated it with grace, tact, and when needed fighting Irish brawn! Michelle, thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what you did. You sacrificed your time your resources for us and helped mentor us at the same time! You created a pathway for our amazing field that will live on in the future of Oregon for generations.

Michelle is an incredible force! She is insightful, perceptive and vocal. Smart. She is able to dial down. eliminate the noise and bring the core issue to the fore front to be dealt with. And she does it all with such finesse and grace that it seems effortless. I am glad she was on our team!

Eugene City Council Votes 8-0 to Build World Class Covered SkatePark in 2013!
It’s official! The Washington-Jefferson SkatePark is being built this summer in a public-private partnership, grand opening in September or October 2013. I’ve been fortunate to serve as chair of the Rotary skatepark subcommittee for this project. There is a great article on the front page of today’s Register-Guard about it, available on-line.
