Mike is a highly talented litigator who is an expert in multiple fields, including environmental law and business litigation. Mike's focus on details and his ability to communicate with jurors make him a fantastic trial lawyer. Mike's recent multi-million dollar arbitration award for his clients in a business dispute is just one example of the many great outcomes he has obtained. Having worked with Mike, I have seen him come up with creative solutions to obtain the best result for his clients. In addition to being a passionate advocate for his clients, Mike is also one of the most ethical lawyers I know.
Michael lives in Dallas, Texas with his three beautiful kids, Gray, Ashley and Anna Katherine, and his loving and talented wife, Bridget. When not at work, Michael enjoys spending time with his children as many will agree they grow up way too quickly.
Michael Goldman is an accomplished litigator who represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex environmental disputes throughout the country. Michael was formerly a shareholder at Guida, Slavich & Flores, PC, an environmental boutique law firm, and for the last 16 years has focused his practice on complex environmental, energy, as well as commercial litigation matters.
When possible, Michael tries to enter into alternative fee arrangements with his clients so that his interests are directly aligned with his clients. Michael is able to offer such arrangements because he has systemized his practice to spend less time “reinventing the wheel” and to focus on strategies that efficiently impact the outcomes of his clients’ cases.
In addition to his private practice, Michael also periodically teaches courses on Environmental Litigation and Environmental Oil and Gas Law at the Texas A&M University School of Law. Michael has represented individuals and businesses in state and federal courts in many diversified areas, including:
Michael received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1999 and his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995. Following graduation from law school, Michael worked as a briefing attorney for Justice Bill Vance with the Tenth Court of Appeals of Texas. Michael is licensed to practice law in Texas and Arizona and has been admitted to practice before several federal courts through the country.
