My wife and I worked with Michael to draft our estate plan. He explained the entire estate planning process in great detail and was able to easily decipher the legalese in to terms we could understand. Michael was always available to answer any questions we had about the process and things we should consider when selecting who should be listed in our wills. Michael works with busy parents and he understands that things can get in the way, he is flexible with his schedule. And at the same time, he didn't let things go. He was like there is going to be a start and a finish to this, and I'm going to keep us on track because it's easy to get distracted with the busyness of your life and your child, so I'm here to bring us back together when you aren't paying attention to this or not moving forward. He is warm and personable, and very down to earth. I don't know a lot of lawyers but he didn't make me feel like he was too busy for us, or he was fitting us in. We were important. He made it as fun as something like this can be. As much as possible, he took the stress out of it and kept it in the most bite-sized chunks that he could. He made a very concerted effort to strip down the will so that it wouldn't be overwhelming for us. It felt like he really understood what the process was and worked hard to make it digestible for us. Instead of making us fit into the process.
