It's now been almost 2 years since my divorce and I am still thanking my lucky stars! My kids are thriving and we are all working together better than I ever thought possible. Having someone on my side who knew what she was doing, knew how to get what was best for all of us, and knew how to explain it so that I really understood what was going on made all the difference in the world.

I hired Melissa to represent me in my divorce after being married for 28 years. I am so thankful that I found Melissa to represent me. I looked up numerous lawyers and read all their reviews and met with a few in person. Melissa was my adversary on a prior matrimonial matter for which she had only been retained a year after a judgment of divorce was entered. Although Melissa faced significant challenges in attempting to put her client's case "back on track", she handled those challenges with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy. In addition, she zealously advocated her case for her client, patiently challenging, presenting and arguing each and every issue in controversy for her client. I enjoyed working with her and would recommend her as a family law attorney.
