Hired Melissa to draft our will and living trust, somthing that we have been putting off for a long time. Melissa took the time to understand our financial and family situation and drafted a living trust and pour-over will unique that was tailored specifically to our needs. Meslissa stays on top of her game, and recommeded updating our trust with more appropriate controls as things changes. Practicing law since 2004, Melissa enjoys working with individuals and families to achieve their estate planning goals. Melissa is a good communicator who has a way of explaining complex concepts and putting people at ease. Her role in helping business owners and families with estate planning matters extends from the design and drafting of wills and trusts to the coordination of powers of attorney and marital property agreements. Melissa also advises business owners and stakeholders on a range of topics, including the formation of limited liability companies (LLCs), corporate entities and non-profits. She guides clients through buying and selling businesses, buy-sell agreements, customer contracts, lease reviews, and succession planning. Real estate is often involved in Melissa’s work in estate planning and business transactions, and she is pleased to assist in the purchase or sale of residential real estate and vacant land.
