One of the country's premier trial attorneys, Marvin Salenger’s recognition amongst and by his peers is significant.  He has been included in the "Best Lawyers in America" publication since 2005, and featured in New York magazine every year since 2005. Marvin has also been named to the Top 100 New York Super Lawyer list of the top practicing attorneys in the state.  He was first selected to the NY Super Lawyer list in 2007 and has made the list every year since, including being recognized among the Top 100 attorneys in New York State. Marvin has also earned the highest ranking among attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review Ratings Service and was recognized as one of Long Island's Ten Leaders in Civil Trial Law. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases with numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements to his credit.
With appearances on television's "Today" and "Inside Edition," as well as features on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox News networks, Marvin's successes are widely known. His high profile cases have been reported in The New York Times, New York Post, Daily News, Newsday and other publications. He has been invited to testify at a joint hearing of the Senate Investigations and Labor Committees of the New York State Legislature regarding current legal issues.
Throughout his career, he has been regarded as a leader among his peers and regularly lectures to attorneys on trial practice, trial strategies and courtroom procedures. Marvin has participated in programs sponsored by the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York County Lawyers Association, Practicing Law Institute, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, St. John's Law School, American Board of Trial Advocates, Touro Law School and Hofstra Law School. He is particularly proud of being invited to address the Louisiana State Trial Association in New Orleans, where he appeared alongside the legendary Gerry Spence.
His bar memberships include the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York County Lawyers Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Nassau-Suffolk County Trial Lawyers Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and American Board of Trial Advocates. He has written extensively and published numerous articles on trial strategy and technique, and has served on the Judicial Screening Committee for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Marvin often works with young lawyers through continuing education programs.
