Martin recently completed an externship with Under Armour during his final semester of law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center. I remember my final semester of law school-- it involved a lot of skiing and not so much work or studying. Martin, humble and hungry as he is, took on the externship at Under Armour and brought his A game to make the most of it. He completed a wide range of assignments relating to trademarks and domain names, owned several projects typically reserved for attorneys with years of experience, and did an excellent job on every single thing he touched. I give Martin my highest recommendation and thank him for making me look good for bringing him on!
I teach CyberCrime at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where I had the pleasure of having Martin Hayes as a student in 2010. Martin was consistently engaged and prepared, and he performed extremely well on his exams. I strongly recommend Martin for any venture he chooses to pursue.
Martin regularly impressed me with his logical problem solving skills. He has a strong ability to connect the dots and was always able to provided real added value to the projects that he worked on. I was impressed by him enough as a future lawyer and a person that I asked him to continue on for a second three month internship.
Martin worked under my supervision at Consumer Direct Marketing as a Web Developer starting in June 2007 and we have worked together on various projects ever since then. His responsibilities included website research and design, graphics creation, software coding and reviewing the software design with our web team. Towards the end of his time working at CDM (before he left for law school), he was the sole programmer on my team and he covered multiple projects simultaneously and there was never anything he could not handle. During his employment at CDM, Martin proved himself over and over again to be a very valuable analyst, a hard worker, and an excellent programmer. Martin is the type of person who genuinely grasps the nuances behind how programming works and how the Internet functions. I have always been impressed by his grasp of the complex issues involved in coding and troubleshooting solutions and his ability to complete assignments quickly and efficiently. He is not the kind of person who wastes time at his computer trying to fight his way line by line through some seemingly impossible task; he calmly researches the problem and always finds the answer he needs so he can get the job done and move on to more important things. His coding has always been very thorough and concise and his Quality Assurance testing accurate. After we both left CDM, Martin continued to work with me on some of my own personal websites. He has been an INVALUABLE resource for many different things related to website appearance, functionality and design, not just limited to programming. He is definitely one of the elite level of person who grasps the Big Picture of how business works and will prove indispensable for any employer, no matter what the job is. I strongly recommend Martin for any position he applies for, now and in the future.
Martin, is one of the most hard working guys I had the chance to work with. Open minded and fast learner, Martin, is the guy who to speak about a problem and find the right solutions. Worked with Martin on two different companies and went to college together. What impressed me all the time was his excellent work and fast completion time to meet any deadline. He is a valuable team player who brings always value and quality to each task that he undertakes.
