  Professor Maxwell was by far the best professor I have had at Belmont. His passion for the industry and huge heart made me love coming to class every day. I think what makes Professor Maxwell stand out compared to other professors is his love for his students. Day one, he greats you with a handshake and makes you feel like he is genuinely interested in your life and goals. He makes himself available to talk about class, your future and everything in between. I would absolutely recommend taking Professor Maxwell for any class at Belmont. He will help you grow as a student and just become a better person by being around him.

  Mark Maxwell was the most influential professor I had during my 4 years at Belmont University. I had the pleasure of being in his first class during my first semester of college, and have kept in touch with him and his family ever since. He has a genuine interest in connecting with and helping all of his students. Even after the class ended he has continued to advise me and many other students on how to navigate through the professional world with integrity. Mark is a wonderful professor, and I recommend anyone who has the opportunity to take a class with him does so.

  Mark has always impressed me not only as a positive and outgoing professor on the Belmont campus, but one that will go out of his way to take time to invest in the lives of others. I heard that Mark teaches a Bob Dylan class and even though I graduated years ago and now work at the university, I got excited about sitting-in. As I enjoyed the class throughout the semester, it was evident that not only is Mark one of the best professors I've ever had a class with but his mission here at Belmont extends outside the classroom.   Mark Maxwell is by far one of the best professors I ever had during my time at Belmont University. He makes it quite apparent that he cares about each and every one of his students, often going out of his way to make time to meet with us all individually whenever he can. He takes a vested interest in his student's continued success outside the classroom as well, keeping in touch and providing advice as necessary. Before taking his classes, I couldn't fathom a professor caring as deeply about his students as he does!

  Professor Maxwell has truly been one of my best professors at Belmont University. I was lucky enough to take his Copyright Law class, a subject which on its own, can be quite difficult and intimidating. However, the exuberance and passion that Professor Maxwell employed for the subject during his class, as well as the real life examples that he was able to bring to the text, made it all so much more interesting and understandable. Additionally, the care and support that he put forth for his students, was like no other professor I have had before. Wanting to get to know us all individually, he made it a point to be available outside of class to help in anyway that he could if it was academically, or just a chance to talk and offer some guidance. To my fellow students and I he has become more than a professor, but also a mentor who can relate to our experiences and whom we know we can count on.
