Work with companies of all sizes to build, grow, protect, defend, assert, and make money from intellectual property. Guide engineers to identify aspects of their technology that has commercial value (i.e. “WHY is the invention better than the competitor’s technology?”) Advocate with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to procure strong patents. Counsel clients to avoid expensive litigation. Take the time to learn and understand my clients’ business goals to maximize their Return-On-Investment, leverage their intellectual property in order to obtain market dominance, and solve their problems so that they can go back to making money.-Build patent portfolios of all sizes and complexities-Design and implement intellectual property strategies -Understand state of the art electrical, computer and mechanical technologies-Expert witness for patent malpractice litigation-Draft written opinions for patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement-Interact frequently with foreign attorneys to obtain strong intellectual property rights on an international scale.-Copyright-Trademark-Litigation support-Patent Post Grant procedures-Lecture on intellectual property throughout the United States and Asia.-Frequent contributor to The Legal Intelligencer and LAW360
