I served under Laura during her tenure as Student Body President as her Public Relations Coordinator, Press Secretary and as Director and Founder of the Students With A Goal Program. Laura was an adept, highly organized and empowering leader for the student body at large as well as to her peers in the Student Government. Few individuals are capable of gracefully balancing the responsibility of being an external representative of the student body while simultaneously managing the operational duties that comes with being a Chief Executive; Laura did so adeptly. In her many years of service to the student body, she was able to demonstrate her keen ability to analyze situations strategically, manage a large team of leaders effectively, and build consensus around a vision before following through with the execution of that vision. Her legacy lives on in the individuals she developed into leaders, the initiatives she spearheaded which continue to have their desired effect today, and in the credibility gained by the Student Government through the relentless outreach efforts put forth by her and the team she gathered. Any potential employer would be wise to take note of her talents and place her in a position of responsibility and purpose because if you do not, another lucky competitor will.
