A really good divorce attorney. I know a handful and she’s the only one I ever recommend to friends or family. Quality attorney who knows her cases. She always remembered my kids names and what they are into. I think that makes a real difference
Kate is a strong attorney. She and her team were well-prepared and I am glad they were in my corner. Custody and child support were a lot easier than I thought. Highly recommend
Katherine worked at our firm in 2015/2016 as an Associate Attorney and I could not have been more impressed with her thoughtfulness, tenacity, and professionalism. Katherine was a fabulous asset to the firm, as she offered a thoughtful and unique approach to client matters. In an area ripe with tension and conflict, Katherine navigated the terrain of family law with compassion and integrity. Katherine is a dedicated advocate and I highly recommend her work.
Kate was a student in two of my classes: Lawyering Skills I and Criminal Law. At the beginning of the Criminal Law semester, Kate told me that she wanted to work toward the CALI award for the highest grade in the class. Guess what? She did. This is one example of Kate's vision, perseverance, and academic talents. Any law practice would be lucky to have her.
Over past 10 years, we have had the privilege to work with many law student/interns at Erickson & Oppenheimer. I am hard pressed to recall any that out-performed Kate. She is an outstandng researcher and writer and brings energy and enthusiasm to every thing she does. She is curious, quick and joy to be around. I'd give Kate the highest recommendation possible. I had the great privilege of having Kate as my Torts Teaching Assistant during my first year of law school. Kate was very helpful, always available, and extremely encouraging. Kate was able to clearly explain complex legal concepts to me and offered invaluable constructive criticism on my legal writing, shaping my success during my first year in law school. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience working with Kate.
I would highly recommend Kate for a position in any form of law. Not only is she bright and thoughtful, but dedicated to working hard and carefully on any task that I asked her to perform. Recently she assisted me in a complex litigation concerning multiple parties. Kate was invaluable in assisting me to propound more than 45 subpoenas to deponents. Kate drafted the subpoenas, organized responses from the deponents and analyzed the information to determine who the next deponent should be. Kate is inquisitive and curious concerning questions of fact and law in a wide variety of subjects. I would be happy to discuss her work experience with anyone who would care to contact me should you have any questions.
