In June 2017, I hired Katherine Fisher to assist me in my Equitable Division of Property, separation and divorce. Ms. Fisher had been recommended to me by my local banker. Ms. Fisher made an immediate positive impression on me from day one. Her style is direct, but not formal. She will be the first to tell you this will not be a pleasant experience. She is extremely knowledgeable of the subject matter and provided sound practical as well as strictly legal advice. Perhaps her greatest quality, especially given the emotional subject matter of separation and divorce, is her compassionate approach to what her client is experiencing. She understands the logistical and emotional upheavals this process causes. She provided me with all necessary information and options, and guided me through strategic decisions to achieve the best result possible. And she did this all recognizing the very personal nature of the disputes and issues involved. During our mediation sessions, Ms. Fisher was superb. We had discussed a final desired result, and the strategy to achieve that result. Ms. Fisher knew when to press and when to hold back. She was extremely effective with the mediator and opposing counsel. It was evident she had tremendous credibility with both, an absolute requirement in any negotiation. I would highly recommend Katherine Fisher for any client. She is a perfect ally and counselor for one going through such a traumatic change of life.
Katherine is a professional, knowledgeable attorney with respect to divorce law. She successfully represented me in my complicated divorce process. She helped me navigate through complex estate issues, pointed out where I would have tax consequences and explained the law so a fair settlement could be reached. Most importantly, she worked professionally with my ex's lawyer and kept unnecessary antagonism out of the process. Finally, Katherine was very fair in regards to fee issues. I would strongly recommend Katherine to assist you through one of life's toughest processes.
Katie is a fabulous attorney that has a sense of urgency and gets the job done!
Katherine was a joy to work with. She handled my needs and followed through with with what she stated she would do. This is something that is in need in many business today. Doing what you tell someone that you will do and then follow through. Great work Katherine, Thank You!
