I hired Mr Peltier to help me resolve a trust issue where they were not supplying me with all that was stated in the will. Mr Peltier seemed to be very good, knew a lot about cases, trusts, and law, etc, and how to get them to solve my problem. He told me it was a small bar for them to hop over and that it would take 10hours work to present a case to them. I paid him 3000$, had a meeting on the phone with him, he was supposed to have a meeting with the trust, had appointement set....he never made the appointement. He had appointement with me which he did not keep, emailed me, apologized and rescheduled. He never kept the rescheduled appointement. I contacted him 2-3x after that and he never responded. He just kept my money and blew me off. My regular attorney tried contacting him with no luck. I am out of state, I suspect he just took my money and kept it and did no further service. It has been close to 2 years now since he started, and still he has not provided any work for me at all, has made no attempt to contact me after saying he wanted to reschedule an appointement (october, 2014, it is now January 20th 2015 and no return phone calls or emails!) over 3 months since I have even heard back from him. I got ripped off and have nothing to show for 3000$ payment with a promise for 10hours of work. If I lived locally I would persue the matter but I suspect other Massachusetts (Very suspect state, nothing but methamphetamines and ripoffs in MA has been my experience, a real arm pit of the universe kind of place, just look at its governors!) attorneys are waiting to fleece me also! So I'd rather just cut my losses and lose money on just one attorney, not a whole series of them!!! I would leave this attorney alone! There are a sea of attorneys in Massachusetts to choose from! Why risk it??? Could be a bad deal like mine! Watch out!
Losing a loved one is hard enough - having to deal with an estate/probate by yourself - very difficult. We hired Justin to relieve the pressure of all the extra paperwork and headaches so we could concentrate on family and the grieving process and I would highly recommend Justin to take care of estate matters but also stress the importance of seeing him before (which we didn't) to put a plan in place so many/most problem areas are dealt with before they become an issue.
Justin is highly competent and knowledgeable in estate and business planning. Justin provided excellent customer service when my husband and I were putting together our will. His experience guided us through the process and allowed us to make the best decisions for our families future. Justin is detailed oriented, professional and very organized. The documents he puts together are easily readable, well organized and concise. I would definitely recommend Justin to my friends, and colleagues.
I've had the pleasure of working with Justin Peltier. He is knowledgeable and most of all he takes time to understand his clients circumstances. I feel comfortable introducing him to any of my friends and family to help assist with Estate Planning -Jason McCue
Justin is a knowledgeable professional in Estate Planning and has a comprehensive understanding of Massachusetts law as it pertains to planning for the future. Justin guided through the process of developing our Wills, Healthcare Proxies, Durable Power of Attorneys for both Finance and Healthcare. He provided insight as to how best manage our estate, as we have no children, and we are a same sex couple who are married under Massachusetts law. His sensitivity, compassion, and confidentially was commendable. We would recommend Justin to individuals and couples any day. Justin's professionalism and final product exceeded our expectations. If you are looking to get it done at a reasonable cost and with the right attorney, then we highly recommend you see Justin.
Justin provided us with outstanding service and estate planning advice and documents. His superior final product and deliverable was more than we anticipated or expected. His work was superior and he was always on-time and quick to respond when we had a question. While his work and approach is great, the value of assisting us while charging us a very reasonable price can't be underestimated either. Without question I highly recommend Justin and his legal services – we have also recommended him to our family and friends.
I referred a good client of mine to Justin when their own estate planning attorney was not returning their calls and they needed to get a license to sell their mom's property after she had passed away as I have it on the market to sell. The client was at the Salem, MA Courthouse day after day trying to petition for the license to sell on her own with mounting frustration. Within a few conversations with the client and a trip to the courthouse, Justin had the license to sell for my client!! I wish they had met him sooner for planning as their former estate planning attorney set things up so that something worth $100,000 to the estate will now cost them close to $100,000! I will send more of my clients to Justin and especially for estate "planning" before it's too late
I have recommended Justin a number of times to my clients. The feedback I have received is that Justin is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate and his fees are fairly priced. I would recommend Justin very highly.
I referred an estate planning client to Justin recently and he did a tremendous job for my client and his complex situation. Things were done quick, thorough, and all parties were thrilled with the work. I would highly recommend him for any estate planning matter.
My family has many thanks to Justin. Justin worked with MassHealth on daily basis to ensure my grandparents assets were protected when my grandfather was ill. Justin really helped us out through a difficult time.
