Too many times when you need an attorney, you are not in the right frame of mind to do a lot of comparison shopping. It is with that in mind that I would recommend Joyce to anyone who needs sound legal advice. Looking to find a local attorney for a minor real estate issue, I found Joyce to be extremely competent, practical and pragmatic in her approach. She knows the system and sets reasonable expectations that, more often than not, are on the conservative side. I would much rather deal directly with an attorney like Joyce than to just be a number at a bigger (and more expensive!) Portland firm.
