Josh is a great person who works very well with others. He has strong leadership skills and has great passion for helping others.
I had the pleasure of knowing Josh through St. Thomas Law and our summer together at Pemberton, Sorlie, Rufer & Kershner. Through both of these experiences, Josh displayed an attitude I have rarely encountered in my professional life. He was positive, intuitive, creative, hard working, and professional. Numerous times I relied upon Josh for insight into a problem or to get a different perspective on something I could not quite wrap my head around. With Josh, you get someone who will not stop working until is perfect. Indeed, there were many nights where Josh stayed late in order to get something up to his high standards. In addition, Josh does all of this with a friendly and outgoing attitude, and with a smile on his face. It was a pleasure to work closely with Josh and I have no hesitation recommending him for a position with your company or firm. He would be a welcomed addition to your business.
Josh Damberg was a teaching assistant for me during the fall of 2013. I was very impressed with Josh on multiple levels. First, in terms of classroom observation, Josh was very keen on the dynamics of the classroom. In relaying this feedback, we had an excellent communication system beyond the knowledge of the class for conveying what we should raise to the class at the moment and what we should debrief after so as to be more equipped to address it a subject in a subsequent class. When Josh did raise a point in class he always did so with tact and curiosity to genuinely engage students in the learning environment. From a grading standpoint, Josh was very thorough in giving written feedback on assignments and providing positive on what students had submitted. I felt very confident in that whatever Josh had graded was done to my standard of consideration and assessment or surpassed my level of expectations.
Josh is excellent at engaging those he works with. As a co-worker, I appreciated his effort in creating a strong sense of team. He was consistently going beyond his job responsibilities to further engage his students as well. He encouraged students to get more out of the course by attending student extra credit sessions, networking to deliver informational sessions and writing blog posts for the Rothenberger Institute web page.
Josh was a gift to the Leadership Minor classes both as a student and as a teaching assistant. He was able engage others in democratic dialogue about controversial topics even when the majority of a group wanted shy away from them. His approachable personality matched with his knowledge of politics and leadership gives him a unique ability to create and the hold the kinds of spaces people need to do adaptive work.
Joshua is one of the finest most conscientious student and person to ever pass through the hallways of one of the best high schools in America. see Forbes Magazine by following the link: http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielfisher/2013/09/26/midwest-dominates-2013-best-schools-for-your-housing-buck/ Josh is one of the major reason Delano was able to earn such an award.
Josh's innovation, enthusiasm, and collaborative leadership improved the efficacy of the Rothenberger Institute. He is great at communicating his ideas and puts everything he has into his work. To put it simply, Josh has all the qualities you look for in a worker, a colleague, and a leader.
Joshua is a great listener who works very effectively on any team. As a peer TA, I noticed that Joshua is one of the people whom you could always depend on. He is a great idealistic innovator who is always looking for new ways to enhance a project. Joshua's presence cannot go unnoticed because he is always ready to tackle new challenges.
As an attorney, I gravitated toward Elder Law and Estate Planning because I felt it was one of the few areas that would allow me to interact with people on a daily basis. I am a very outgoing and compassionate person, and the ability to help others brings energy to my practice. I was blessed to clerk for one of the largest and most experienced Twin Cities Elder Law-oriented firms throughout my tenure at the University of St. Thomas School of Law (Maser, Amundson, Boggio & Hendricks) and I joined them as an Associate Attorney following my passage of the Minnesota State Bar in 2017.
While my practice areas at Maser, Amundosn, Boggio & Hendricks are still developing, I primarily work in the areas of Long-Term Care Planning/Life Care Planning and Estate Planning. The firm handles, and my practice will expand to include, matters related to Special & Supplemental Needs Trusts, Probate & Trust Administration, and Guardianship & Conservatorship. MABH also has a dedicated litigation group that takes cases related to the above practice areas, as well as personal injury matters.
Outside of the firm, I am a Delano Tiger hockey coach, a Minnesota Gopher and Minnesota Wild aficionado, a pond hockey enthusiast, a dedicated philanthropist, an amateur paddler, and an avid reader/watcher of movies.
