John prepared all the right documents for my will. John is meticulous, straightforward, responsive, and extremely comfortable. If you are looking for a lawyer with this kind of experience, I highly recommend John.
Mr. Rizos was very helpful in assisting me. He always updated me on the progress of my case and made sure I was aware of the timeline of my case. Definitely recommend.
John has one of the best work ethics I have ever seen. I was able to work closely with him over the last year, and he showed that he is a dedicated worker. When John realized that a group study was not helping for particular classes he was willing to break off to complete his work. Most people I know would suffer through the fear of cold calling. John stays calm (even though he says he is nervous, he does not show it) under pressure. No one works harder than he does and I fully recommend him.
I bring a wide variety of legal experience to Welch Law LLC, as I have handled matters in personal injury, bankruptcy, sports law, probation & parole, and more. I also serve as a Legislative Aide at the Maryland State Senate, for which I provide legal advice on proposed regulations and assist a Senator in the Judicial Proceedings Committee.
During law school, I served as a Student Attorney for the Juvenile Justice Project Clinic, for which I provided representation to inmates for parole hearings.
I graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2017 and swore into the Maryland Bar in December 2017. I graduated with Honors from Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies in May 2013.
As a law student, I served as a Fellow for the Center of International & Comparative Law, in which I clerked for attorneys in Guantanamo Bay detainee matters, provided legal aid in Greek refugee camps, and published amici briefs and policy papers for International Courts and Non-governmental organizations. I also served as a Teaching Assistant, for which I conducted weekly lectures on legal writing and citation rules.
I was born in Athens, Greece and moved to Bethesda, Maryland at 10 years old. I joined Welch Law, LLC as a partner in 2018. I am fluent in English and Greek, and have attained mid-advanced proficiency in Spanish, which I studied as a minor at Towson University.
