After my infant son and I were attacked by a pit bull, I suffered significant physical injuries and emotional distress, leading to PTSD. John was there with empathy, support and expertise to help ease us through the legal process. As the litigation proceeded we were presented with a number of options that John guided us through, explaining both the pros and cons of each, so that were able to come to the best decision for our family. We chose a binding arbitration, where John performed brilliantly on our behalf. The arbitrator's award exceeded our expectations and allowed us to focus on our family and our health. I highly recommend John as a trial lawyer.
My husband was a Navy pilot killed in his airplane that had a catastrophic failure as it approached the aircraft carrier. He saved his crew, but sacrificed his life. To us, our young kids and me, he was a father, a husband and our hero. Because of John’s diligence and sincere care for our family, that will always be his legacy. The crash was life altering and devastating-- we needed to learn to be a family without him. A lawsuit, reliving this horrific event was unimaginable. John, a former Navy pilot, showed compassion for our grieving and understanding of not only what had happened, but of our loss. For this I am grateful. John guided me through the litigation step-by-step, allowing us time and space to heal as a family, while respectfully communicating the process. There is no way to measure a life or to lessen a family’s suffering. But, because of John’s hard work, I was able to focus on my children and grow as a family instead of worrying about a mortgage payment, college tuition or financial burdens. That was his gift to us. Thank you, John. John has my highest recommendation.
While working with John in the Wolk LAW FIRM on Aviation Safety Cases I found John to be a well balanced individual and attorney with a good in depth of experience from serving 9 years as a Naval Aviator,.providing him with a keen insight into the real world of Overall Aviation Safety. Something that is not easily achieved in other ways. John has also obtained a good insight in his Legal experience through summer intern programs with Crowell & Moring L.L.P. as well as an intein in a U.S. District Court while working on his Law Degree at the Temple Univ. Beasley School of Law, Finally, after receiving his Law Degree, he is currently expanding his background by working in an outstanding Law Firm, The Wolk Law Firm, with a well known Aviation Safety Litigation Record.
My practice is focused on the two things that I know well: Litigation and Aviation. If you have a small business with a claim or if your family has been affected by an accident or tragedy you need a trial lawyer to get you to, and through, a trial. When I represent you, you have a lawyer who is both courtroom- and combat-tested. I represent clients who have disputes with individuals, small businesses, multi-billion dollar corporations and the United States Government. If your business or family has been affected by someone else's wrongdoing, your lawyer should be equipped to litigate against the biggest companies in the world and the government, if necessary.
I'm a proud Navy veteran, I was a Naval Aviator and I deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq several times between 2001 and 2004 where I logged dozens of combat flight missions. After I left the Navy, I joined a premier Philadelphia law firm where I litigated, large, complex, multi-million dollar negligence, product liability, breach of contract, fraud and wrongful death cases.
I have an engineering degree and years of piloting, teaching, courtroom and combat experience which give me the ability to stay calm under pressure and the ability to explain complicated matters to courts and juries in an accessible, easily understandable way that leads to success.
If you are an accident victim, I operate on a contingent fee basis – that means that you do not pay for legal services or legal costs unless and until there is a recovery of money damages. I handle injury and wrongful death litigation cases on a contingent fee basis.
If you have an individual or small business claim, I have the flexibility to work out billing arrangements that fit your needs. These claims can include negligence, fraud, breach of contract, consumer protection, defective product, and other cases where someone has committed a tort - that is a legal wrong - against you.
As a veteran I understand that active duty personnel, reservists and veterans are not always treated with the respect that they deserve from the Veterans Administration, government agencies, private employers and others.
If you are serving or have served honorably in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard and you have any legal question at all, call or email and I will get back to you.
