I chose a collaborative divorce after attending a meeting about the process. I thought it was best to keep our children out of the process and not have a judge make the decisions for our children that we could make. Jodie was then recommended to me by a friend. Divorce is an ugly process, but Jodie guided me well in making the decisions that needed to be made and kept the process on track, without pushing me. She would suggest taking a break from the process if needed. Hashing things out at the meetings with the ex and his attorney are not easy, Jodie knew when I was upset and would call me afterwards to talk things through, explain things to me, and sometimes get me to look at things differently. From the first four way meeting to the signing of the decree, it was a five month process. I would highly recommend Jodie for this divorce process. She is very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and understanding.
