On September 20th, 2014, I was arrested for a DUI in the city of Beaverton. I had never been arrested before and was quite distraught in the following days of the arrest. Jill gave me peace of mind by walking me through the legal process and explaining any questions I had thoroughly. She conducts herself in a professional manner and that is quite apparent to anyone who hears her speak. I was pleased with her performance in court and she even won at the DMV hearing! Consequently, I can still drive, perform work duties, and continue pursuing my dream of a earning a college degree without delay. Jill is a real winner and I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a lawyer.

Jill Petty went above and beyond for my fiancé ... We were facing some very unfortunate circumstances and she gave us the hope we were not expecting. She will forever be "our attorney" should we need her services again. Which hopefully we won't . Thanks Jill, your amazing at your job and we both thank you for Everything!!!!!! A skilled and experienced attorney, Jill Petty has over twenty-five years as a courtroom advocate. Her legal career began at the Multnomah County Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office where she defended clients charged with crimes ranging from Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants to Murder. She went on to work as an Assistant City Attorney in Vancouver, Washington where she served as both the Criminal Unit Coordinator and the Clark County Domestic Violence Prosecution Unit Coordinator.
Her passion for defending the accused brought her back to criminal defense in 2006 when she established her own firm. As a successful litigator who has conducted over a hundred jury trials, Jill Petty now represents clients charged with all types of criminal offenses.
A member of the state bars in Oregon, Washington and Colorado, Jill Petty is also admitted to practice in the federal courts for the Districts of Oregon and Western Washington. She is a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association.
