Jessica B. Coffield joined Murphy, Campbell, Alliston & Quinn as an associate attorney in 2014. Her practice focuses on general civil litigation with an emphasis on business and real estate litigation. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Coffield represents California businesses in various transactions, including entity selection and formation, contract drafting and review, corporate acquisitions, and dissolutions.
Prior to joining Murphy Campbell, Ms. Coffield practiced commercial litigation at a large firm in Irvine, focusing on real estate and banking litigation, representing financial institutions in a variety of lending and servicing matters in state and federal court.
Ms. Coffield was also previously an associate at a Los Angeles firm, where she represented the County of Los Angeles and other public entities and employees in various employment-related matters.
She attended the University Of Southern California School Of Law where she was Senior Editor of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and Public Relations Chair for Legal Aid Alternative Breaks, a student service group founded in response to Hurricane Katrina to assist communities in Louisiana and California with legal aid and manual labor.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside in 2007, where she graduated magna cum laude and was named the Most Outstanding Graduate in the Philosophy/Law program.
