I first found Jeff online in a delicate and somewhat frantic moment after receiving divorce papers. I had searched many local lawyers. From the first phone call he made me feel most comfortable and gave me immediate advise on how to start protecting myself. We then set up an appointment for the following day. Most other lawyers were not interested in giving out advise on the phone and rather wanted me to pay for the consultation first. I found Jeff to be firm but compassionate , Honest and calming, highly educated and professional. Direct but very personal. He had always found the time to give me his attention when needed. We put together a couple of different game plans depending on which way things went with my the opposing party. We were able to settle outside of the court system in an 4 way agreement meeting. I retained most of what I wanted out of the divorce and came to a fair parenting agreement and shared custody. I can not stress enough how much Jeff had helped me on a personal level keeping myself together and getting through the divorce as well as keeping the legal side of things tight. I Highly recommended Jeff Soilson.
I've been in divorce process for 3 years, I met so many good attorneys, But Jeff certainly is the best I've ever met. it seemed like his experience and knowledge was unlimited, he's laid back and super godd to work with.
I have a complicated custody situation, which means I've been in court every few months for the last 3 years. Jeff Soilson has been in my corner every step of the way. His knowledge, guidance and attention has changed my life and has been the difference in my ability to protect my children. There is no lawyer who is more compassionate or more effective. I trust him with my life, and he's never let me down.
I would definitely recommend Attorney Jeffrey Soilson for his holistic approach to sorting through complex situations, developing/partnering/packaging a long-term strategic game-plan, adapting to unpredictable changes from the opposition, and successfully completing his engagement.
Jeff helped my husband and I after the loss of our son in a tragic accident. He guided us through decisions we could not have clearly made, with patience, understanding and professionalism he helped us with the unimaginable tasks no parent should have to endure. His knowledge in helping us set up a foundation to honor our son was invaluable. I would recommend Jeff for any legal needs.
Jeff is a consummate professional who consistently provides me with excellent legal representation. Jeff's work ethic, attention to detail and overall sense of urgency is hard to find. Jeff also has an extensive network of arbitrators, financial and tax colleagues to lean on, which I found extremely helpful. Jeff makes himself available to his clients day and night and is always available to provide great advice and counsel.
I have used Jeff for several things over the years and would highly recommend him. He is open and honest and will give sounds advice on how to handle both simple and complicated legal matters. If he is not the right person, Jeff is great about also pointing you in the right direction. He is also kind, compassionate, has good moral grounding and believes in doing the right thing. Interested in building a long term relationship with clients not just getting a quick hit and billing out. If you need a great attorney and someone you can trust, Jeff should be your first call.

Jeff Soilson is someone I'd refer to a friend or family member. I've had only positive experiences working with him in the past. He cares about his clients, is accessible, and is highly effective in getting the job done.
Jeff seamlessly took over my case while my lawyer of 10 years, was out of town. It was incredibly stressful for me, but Jeff made the best of a failing situation, on my part. I would recommend him to any of my friends dealing with a toxic divorce situation. Jeff gets positive results.
I have had family law cases with Jeff Soilson as opposing counsel and find him to be a highly competent advocate for his clients. Attorney Soilson not only works vigorously to resolve complex and difficult issues, he is an excellent negotiator and litigator.
Jeffrey A. Soilson and I were on opposite sides of a case. I found his representation of his client in court and his written work to be of very high quality. He is an excellent advocate for his client while remaining reasonable to deal with. He recognizes that it is in the client's interest to have a productive relationship with opposing counsel. I also believe he would be an excellent neutral in family law cases and would recommend him as a parenting coordinator or in another neutral capacity to assist co-parenting in high conflict cases.
Jeff Soilson represented me during the most difficult time in my life—a brutally contested divorce that involved every cliché imaginable when one hears of “nightmare divorce” cases. When I was referred to Jeff, I was devastated, emotionally-drained, and deeply concerned about the welfare of my child and how we would both weather the litigation to come. Jeff's ability to provide strategic guidance, emotional support, and clear, level-headed thinking that always put my child and my future at the center of every decision was superb. He worked with me collaboratively, compassionately and demonstrated the utmost professionalism and skill. Throughout the entire process, Jeff was always available, reassuring, and flexible. The successful outcome of my divorce and the lessons learned during the process paved the way to a future I could not have previously imagined. He is a gem.

Client Recommendations:
“I was referred to Attorney Soilson by friends when my divorce was already underway with another attorney who had marginalized my case, treated me with total disregard and gave me poor advice. [Mr. Soilson] spent over an hour on the phone with me as I sobbed uncontrollably in a parking lot. In that time he had a better grasp of my case and my priorities than my other lawyer had in over 6 months. Mr. Soilson was kind, knowledgeable, wise, considerate, honest, honorable, and supportive. The divorce was nasty and contested; the opposing counsel (and client) consistently took the “low road”. Mr. Soilson was my champion from beginning to end. He never waivered and the first impression I had of him never changed. He is a fine lawyer and you will be in the best of hands. He is a credit to his firm and I will always be grateful to him.”“I worked with Jeff now for a couple of years and on numerous projects. He is an excellent attorney with tremendous resources available to him. Jeff is open and honest about how to approach things, and his approach is a collaborative one to try and work effectively with the opposing side to reach an amicable agreement. He can be tough when he needs to be, but is very effective at establishing relationships and credibility early on in the process, to move things along more quickly. I highly recommend Jeff as an attorney.”“Jeff was asked to defend my partner’s alimony case in the 11th hour. To most this would be a disadvantage, but he jumped right in and was well prepared by the court dates. He was completely available to her by e-mail or telephone, and never left her with any ‘vague’ information to be misinterpreted. He was always very quick to respond to messages or e-mails. He's extremely knowledgeable and was able to identify issues partner was not aware of. When it came to the final court date, he was a notable match for our foes. We were completely impressed with how Jeff conducted himself.”“I had a very difficult situation with my aunt’s Estate. Jeffrey Soilson was recommended by a friend in Florida and he took on a case that I thought was pretty much hopeless, but Jeffrey Soilson was able to finalize the case to everyone's satisfaction. He kept me up to date with everything that was going on, answered calls and e-mails promptly, copied me on all correspondence and guided me. Most important, I came to trust him and his advice. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff Soilson.”Jeffrey Soilson is a graduate of Columbia University, (B.A., 1994), and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, (J.D., 1997).
