James McClammer is an associate for Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP. He concentrates his practice on environmental litigation and health and safety matters. McClammer comes from the U.S. Department of Labor, where as a trial attorney he handled enforcement under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act, litigating occupational, health and safety violations from inception through settlement and trial.
In addition to his experience handling enforcement and health and safety matters, McClammer also brings to the firm a diverse background in environmental and energy work. Prior to his work at the Department of Labor, he served as a staff attorney at the Clean Air Council, where he focused on Marcellus Shale and energy issues. During law school, McClammer interned at the Environmental Protection Agency, Region III, as well as at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
McClammer received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. In law school, he was a finalist in the Polsky Moot Court Competition and had Distinguished Class Participation in his Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. He served as the Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society and was a Fellow of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society. Upon graduation, he received the Temple Law Alumni Moot Court Award.
In his free time, Jamie enjoys traveling with his wife, playing ice hockey, and exploring the Philadelphia area on his bicycle.
