Jake has been representing me since Feburary 2009 and he has always been there to answer all my questions. He has always returned my phone calls. He calls me if he hasn't heard from me just to see how everything is going. He looks for what is best for his clients at all times..

I was born March 14, 1960 in Council Bluffs and am a fourth generation member of the Peters Law Firm in Council Bluffs. I began working full time for the firm in 1983 as a law clerk, joined as an associate in 1985, joined the firm as a partner in 1990 and have worked here continuously ever since. My practice is currently confined primarily to Iowa Workers' Compensation Claims on behalf of the Claimant, but I also handle claimant's cases in Nebraska. I also handle personal injury and automobile litigation. I am a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Iowa Association for Justice and I have been active in civic and community affairs including serving on the Westfair board for 17 years from 1988 to 2005. I am currently active in the Pottawattamie County Pheasants Forever Chapter and other civic organizations.
