Jackie is Marino Law's associate attorney and resident environmental-law wonk. In addition to serving as past Secretary for the Oakland County Bar Association’s Energy, Sustainability, and Environmental Law Committee, Jackie has worked as a legal researcher in connection with the Flint Water Crisis civil litigation and as an extern for the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department. Our consumer-protection cases often involve environmental issues—such as diesel engine defeat devices designed to cheat emissions standards, or faulty solar hot-air systems damaging the homes of low-income residents—so Jackie’s experience in this area makes her a valuable member of our team. In law school, Jackie founded the Environmental Law Society, edited the WMU Cooley Law Journal, and sparred in Mock Trial competitions.
