✅ Accurate profile (3 sources)
I came to the U.S. as a Syrian refugee in 2015 and found a job shortly after arriving. When my work permit was set to expire, I was in danger of losing my job. I talked to two lawyers before Ida, and neither were helpful. I emailed Ida when a friend recommended her and provided me with her contact information. I was amazed when Ida reviewed my documents and told me that I didn't need a work permit anymore. She wrote a letter to my boss explaining all the relevant law that proved my eligibility to continue working in the U.S. Since then, Ida became my family's lawyer, and has continued to help my family as we resettle in the U.S. Thank you so much Ida! We appreciate your help!
Ida assisted me in several stages of my path from visa-holder to citizenship. She prepared my green card application and helped with preparation of my naturalization documents. She was unfailingly approachable and knowledgable, and the entire procedure was made much much simpler through her efforts.
Ida is a consummate professional who takes the time to understand your situation first and then offer her guidance based on her extensive experience. While sensitive to us as a client, she was also tenacious in dealing with the bureaucracy of foreign and local government agencies for the case.
I worked with Ida at the National Visa Center (NVC) in Portsmouth, NH. It is not noted on my resume as I have shifted career goals since that time. I first met her in the department that focuses on reviewing the family-based immigration application's DS-230s and I-184s. Later we both shifted to working on the phones where we would answer people's questions. Ida was the most knowledgable and passionate person I worked with at the NVC. She not only fully understood the paperwork, she understood it's not always about doing the minimum the government tells you you need to do. She knows all the tricks. If anyone I ever know needs a visa, Ida will be my first and last stop. There's absolutely no doubt she'll make sure it's done quickly and correctly the first time.
Ida is one of the most effective counselors I have ever seen at work. Sympathetic, resourceful, assertive, knowledgeable, and straightforward, Ida brings together all of the necessary qualities to conduct foreclosure prevention work, as well as any other type of client-focused work that demands interaction with multiple interested parties. I was always able to count on her insight and deep knowledge on foreclosure-related issues.
Ida was extremely helpful in my immigration case. It was hard sharing some personal information which is required on immigration applications but she assured me that everything is confidential and she never disappointed. She was on top of everything at each point and was available for any questions I had along the way. I am confident that my husband and I reunited sooner because of her work. It felt good knowing that all the documentation was submitted correctly and accurately the first time. I would highly recommend Ida to anyone looking for an immigration lawyer.
Ida is a detail oriented individual with integrity. She does what she says she will do. A fine professional to work with and someone I can trust with my clients. Mae Bradshaw
