During law school, Ms. Cole-Chu was Editor in Chief of the Maryland Law Review and Co-President of the Maryland Public Interest Law Project, Inc. She was awarded the Sam Allen Memorial Prize for leadership and scholarship and the Judge Roszel Thomsen Prize for excelling the course Federal Jurisdiction. Her case note, Zivotofsky v. Kerry: Choosing International Reputation Over Separation of Powers, was published in the Maryland Law Review and awarded the Joseph Bernstein Prize as the most significant piece of student writing submitted to that journal. Prior to law school, Ms. Cole-Chu worked as a legal assistant for the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project at the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs and as a paralegal at an employment law firm in Silver Spring, MD.Ms. Cole-Chu is licensed to practice in Maryland only. She is not a member of the D.C. Bar, and is supervised by a member of the District of Columbia bar.
