  As a forensic accountant for 30 years, I have worked with hundreds of litigators and found Mr. Geoff Gold to be a particularly highly skilled litigator. Overall I have worked with Mr. Gold on a number of business litigation cases and I have found him to be quite capable and sharp when dealing with highly complex financial issues. He is also a very persistent litigator. In one case involving financial fraud, Mr. Gold took the extra step in subpoenaing certain financial records that turned out to be significant in proving that defendant perpetrated the alleged fraud. Mr. Gold's persistence in discovery paid off as the judge found that the defendant did in fact commit fraud. In another matter involving a real estate development company, Mr. Gold's client alleged that his partner mislead him when he agreed to the sale of his interest in the company (real estate). In this case, Mr. Gold was very active in dissecting and uncovering various layers of financial transactions that clearly demonstrated defendant's fraudulent manipulation of financial records. I was also impressed with Mr. Gold's demeanor in high stressed situations. Both in court and in depositions, he kept his cool, stayed the course, and did not allow anything to impede his clear and well balanced thinking. What makes Mr. Gold particularly effective in business litigation is his ability to digest significant amount of detail and complex financial information and subsequently when the occasion arises, retrieve relevant elements of that data.   Geoffrey handled a real estate contractual dispute for my family about five years ago. He was thoroughly professional, and we ended up with a satisfactory result.
