I'm a non-practicing attorney who runs several small businesses, so I know a thing or two about the law. During the Great Recession, when the bank threatened to foreclose on my family farm, Chip was brilliant and tenacious in our defense. He bought us the time we needed to bring in an investor who saved the farm. Along the way, he became a lifelong family friend. Throughout the negotiations with the bank, Chip was always courteous and professional to everyone. But he was tough as nails with the bank, responsive to every concern, and very creative with his firm's representation. I simply cannot speak too highly of him.

I hired Mr. Coover in January of 2013 and I have never questioned my decision. “Fred “Chip” Coover is a principled Howard County attorney who is well versed in the area of divorce law. Intelligence and integrity are attributes that best describe him. He is an ethical and truthful attorney who provides good counsel and has the uncanny ability to anticipate actions of opposing attorneys. When new situations warrant, he is willing and eager to educate himself so that he is able to best represent his clients. Chip Coover is a true gentleman in an arena where straightforward behavior is often absent.”
