Erika Hubbs assisted our company in getting one of our future Venezuelan employees an 0-1 Visa. And she was successful !! Her knowledge of the industry and her determination was a great asset in this lengthy and drawn out process. I have used this Firm previously and will continue using them in the future. Great work !!
Erika was the one in Hubbs Law firm who mainly handled our immigration case. A loved one in our family had a very complex case and was being held in Broward County Transitional Center and faced deportation. On top of the already complex case, the judges at this detention center are known for being for deportation and extremely conservative. Despite this, her and her husband proved how knowledgeable and experienced they were by building a strong case, doing thorough due diligence, and strategically post poning court dates when necessary, so that in the end, they were able to release our loved one on bond and have her case transferred close to home here in Virginia. As a bilingual lawyer, she made sure our loved one understood everything translating everything perfectly to our detained loved one. Their office is located roughly an hour away (without traffic) from the courthouse, so they went out of pocket to book hotels near it to ensure traffic would not cause them to be late. They always kept steady communication, giving us updates, plans of action, and answering any and all questions. Even after the fact, when it was all said and done, they inquired to make sure our loved one had gotten home safe and provided us with a lawyer here in Virginia to continue our case. She truly shows she loves what she does and cares for her clients. Hubbs Law firm went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied not only as clients but as a family as well. We cant thank them enough!

I am a criminal defense and immigration attorney in Miami, FL. I was born and raised in Miami. I have been practicing law since 2008 primarily focusing on criminal and immigration law. I'm a former prosecutor who worked at the State Attorney's Office. That time allowed me to gain invaluable courtroom experience as I had the opportunity to handle thousands of criminal cases, handle motions, and conduct jury and non-jury trials.
I have also owned two law firms that focus substantially on immigration law. At Ronquillo Law, I defended clients in removal proceedings, represented family members who want to file family based petitions for green cards for a loved one, and represented legal permanent residents who want to apply for citizenship. I eventually decided to join my husband's firm, Hubbs Law, where we both exclusively practice in criminal defense and immigration law.
