During my last year in law school, I had the opportunity to work with Eric on the Texas Aggie Bar Association at Texas Tech School of Law (“TABA”) on the organization's primary philanthropy event, Crawfish for CASA, an event benefitting Court Appointed Special Advocates (“CASA”). Eric approached me to operate in a consulting capacity due to my prior experience in planning and executing the event. Eric's capacity for simultaneously managing competing interests with diplomatic aplomb while consistently leading by example by outworking even the hardest workers among the larger team repeatedly impressed me. In addition, Eric knew when to step back and delegate: during the early planning stages for the event, an opportunity to utilize a team of MBA students, including myself, as a marketing tool to grow the event by reaching out to groups previously untapped was successfully integrated into the team. Eric's ability to integrate the various groups and continue to maintain the overall focus on the goals and objectives of the event was apparent to everyone involved. Given the opportunity, I would jump at the chance to work with Eric again.
