I'm an attorney with little knowledge of the family law arena - my primary focus is on trusts and estates. I contacted Emily regarding a very esoteric and research-sensitive divorce/death issue that had been sitting on my desk for a while (read: I was avoiding it), figuring I could glean some insight as to where I should begin my research. Emily didn't just shed some light - she solved the matter entirely, pointing a specific case on point that will justify my position to a T. She was responsive, helpful, and most of all, patient - uncommon traits for an attorney. While my professional experience with Emily may be limited, I can say without hesitation that she has a sharp family law mind - as my title says, she knows her stuff. Coupled with her pleasant disposition, I can't imagine she would be anything less than a fantastic advocate for any client requiring her services. I recommend her without hesitation.

Emily was exceptional and superb in every way possible throughout this journey. She was upfront and honest from very beginning to the end off my case. She showed great communication skills, amazing patience and care making me feel like my case was always a top priority. Going out of her way time and time again during the past year to guide and help me as a foresightful intelligent attorney with a great game plan and also an insightful friend when I needed one. Five stars all the way and I would highly recommend her.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. As a Bay Area native, she returned to obtain her Juris Doctor Degree from Santa Clara School of Law. While in law school, Emily participated in Honors Moot Court wherein she competed nationally amongst other law schools. Emily’s team placed first amongst the region and in the top 10 amongst the national finals.
Emily spent years working for a high-end law firm and has gained extensive experience solving a wide variety of complex family law issues including high asset property division, domestic violence, contested custody, and a wide range of support issues.
Emily prides herself on her commitment to an open line of communication with her clients and recognizes the need to keep clients fully informed of all aspects of their case. Her love of the mediation process has enabled her to think outside the box and develop settlements that benefit the client.
