With offices in Boca Raton and Hollywood, FL, Dominique Burkhardt is Your Trusted Advocate for your South Florida criminal case. Dominique Burkhardt (McPherson) founded Burkhardt Legal, PLLC with the goal of providing high-quality legal representation to individuals in her community, distinguished by a commitment to justice, integrity, and the zealous advocacy of her clients' rights and interests. Ms. Burkhardt brings to her firm prior experience as an attorney with the Broward County Public Defender's Office, where she represented clients in misdemeanor and felony cases and gained substantial trial experience. She was recognized for her successes at trial by the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers when she received two Hat Trick Awards for obtaining 3 consecutive 'Not Guilty' verdicts at trial. She also received the Best Advocate Award from the Florida Public Defender Association after completing Defender College. More recently, Ms. Burkhardt was recognized by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys as a "10 Best" Attorney for Client Satisfaction. Previously, Ms. Burkhardt worked at a law firm representing clients in appeals of civil and criminal cases. Ms. Burkhardt is a proud Florida Gator, having obtained Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Journalism in 2009 and her Law Degree in 2012 from the University of Florida in Gainesville.​  Ms. Burkhardt completed her undergraduate studies on a full scholarship as a Florida Academic Scholars Bright Futures Award recipient, and in law school, she was a Ralph R. Bailey Scholarship recipient. Ms. Burkhardt is committed to fighting for her clients and helping them achieve the best possible legal outcome in their cases.  She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
