Dawn is highly thought of as an upstanding, ethical, honest, and personable attorney. Prior to establishing VanTassel Law Firm, she spent most of her career with large, well known firms. Dawn was also highly referenced to me when speaking with my other attorney. I would NOT hesitate to have her represent me and/or my business.

I had the displeasure of consulting with 'Ms' Van Tassel... What a mistake and waste of energy. Brings her political views into everything and berates you if you aren't as ultra left as she is. I've never been called so many hateful names and accused of such things ever before in my professional or personal affairs. Support small business? Not in my opinion... Beware.

I have been opposed to Dawn in a couple of cases. She is very professional, does not work the file needlessly, and does a very good job for her clients. After 49 years of practicing law, I appreciate an opposing attorney who is practical, ethical, and bright like Dawn.

Dawn was an integral part of our legal team during our intellectual property trial in US federal court. Dawn Van Tassel founded Van Tassel Law Firm, LLC, after 15 years in private practice with mid- and large-sized law firms in Minneapolis. She is an aggressive trial attorney and advocate, serving clients involved in complex commercial and employment disputes. Her industry experience includes large-scale retailers, medical device, pharmaceuticals, wholesale distribution, manufacturing and professional services firms.Dawn’s experience spans a wide breadth of litigation and employment matters, including trying cases to judges and juries in federal and state courts, defending employers against charges before the EEOC and state departments of human rights, successfully representing clients in participatory hearings before administrative bodies, trying cases in private arbitration proceedings, and appearing before the appellate courts in Minnesota and elsewhere.
