About

David is passionate about solving problems. A lawyer with experience negotiating, and appearing in family court, David believes that lawyers have a responsibility to seek to make situations better, not worse, and that kids come first. Usually, that means that both parents need to be involved in the life of their child. Unfortunately, that is not always possible.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence analyst, David attended Fuller Seminary, near
Los Angeles, and went on to serve as a pastor at a small church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Repeatedly though, he discovered problems that he could not directly fix as a pastor, and that led to law school at the University of St. Thomas. David’s faith drives him to be inclusive, and to be a dedicated volunteer, extending his services to those on the margins of society.
Born in the Twin Cities, and raised first in Alaska and then La Crosse, Wisconsin, David is happy to call the Twin Cities home, and enjoys spending time with his family, and taking advantage of all the great things that Minnesota has to offer, especially the outdoors.
