  After having billing issues with my former legal counsel, I was in search of a general attorney to not only take care of an immediate real estate dispute, but also handle my legal needs for multiple business units and partnerships. I was referred to Colt Moss by a friend who was currently using Colt as his general council. I hired Colt to resolve the dispute, which he did in short order without having to take legal action against a commercial landlord. Needless to say, I was very happy when I received the billing statement from Colt. It was less than half of the amount quoted to me by my former attorney. Within a month of my first transaction with Colt, I again retained him to handle a substantial sale of one of my business units. Colt advised me on the valuation of the business and handled everything from negotiations, to sales contracts and closing. The terms of the deal were for two payments from the buyer. The large initial payment was made by the purchaser of my business, but he ended up shorting me on the final payment. It was not a substantial amount, and in most cases, it would not have been worth the legal fees to take the purchaser to court and most sellers would walk away. However, to me, it wasn’t about the money. it was principle and I was willing to pay more than they owed in order to make them pay what they agreed to. Colt had the contract so tight that the purchaser stood no chance in court. Rather than filing, Colt had the purchaser's attorney agree to a mediation. His strategy was to either have it mediated or have their refusal to mediate on record. The mediation lasted thirty minutes and in the end Colt walked into his office, where I was waiting, with a check of the amount in full. That was a huge win. This was the second win Colt had brought to the table for me within six months. Colt is now my general council and has multiple responsibilities across all of my businesses. I have always been able to reach Colt anytime I needed him, and we have had many evening and weekend calls. I also have three children and Colt has given legal advice to them on various matters, from real estate and wills to health care power of attorneys. I have been impressed with Colt’s ability to maneuver “outside the box”. He has a propensity to get the win very efficiently. I have referred Colt to numerous friends over the years and highly recommend him to anyone looking for legal counsel.

  Mr. Moss is the attorney for my business and real estate holdings. I have the upmost respect for the way he carries himself in and out of the courtroom. Mr. Moss is very experienced with all types of law. He will respond to you with updates as soon as he gets them. Having a large business we are fortunate the way Mr. Moss strategically handles each situation.
